I often run out of canvases or realize they are of the wrong size for the landscape at hand. I can make them as I need them. Often I make them as I think about the order of what I want to make. The order seems to have a hand in what makes the place.
The Osprey nests are the main interest here. They fly from ocean to bay searching for fish. The nests are active with young birds.

Pennsylvania Day 2
These Islands in the Susquehanna are a image my mind holds dear. I made paintings out in California that I think were about this memory. The floating sense of memory. I spent many days as a boy fishing and exploring along this wide shallow river.
These are from Wormleysburg, overlooking Harrisburg and the Susquehanna.

I'm from here long ago. It has been interesting to me to see all these places again after painting all I have.
This landscape from the beginning has shaped many of my feelings and ideas.
